Even though we are with 30 min. of downtown Cincy, the town we live in more like a small town than a major metropolitan area and that’s what we like about it. Case in point.  This year, thanks to the efforts of our nascent Beautification Society (i know, it’s just like a book, isn’t it?), this evening we had a ‘beautify Our Little Town” luminary display. You could buy luminary kits from the society and then you were to place them on your porch or walk or whatever at 6 this evening.  Even though not everyone was on board, it was still nice to see some participation. And then along with that, there were horse-drawn carriage rides (well, they said ‘carriage’ but it was really a wagon) through our neighborhood starting at one of the Funeral Homes, which every year has a semi-live nativity with life-size wax figures and real life donkey and sheep penned on their lawn. How cute is that?  What a fun little town!
