A salad for non-salad eaters

Whenever there’s choice between soup or salad, I always choose soup. But occasionally, knowing its good for me, I make a salad. And here is how I make a salad:

Any lettuce mix other than iceberg
Thick slices of onion (let’s not be afraid here)
garbanzo beans
Grape or cherry tomatoes
Meat of some sort (opt)
Grated cheese (opt)
1/2 boiled egg
Almond slices
Drizzle olive oil
 chili powder
cayenne pepper
black pepper

    fyi — grated cheese is NEVER optional…

    is that a real recipe? because i’m a little frightened of it. really. the onion with the egg with the raisines with the chili powder–i’m a little uncomfortable just typing all of those words in the same sentence.
