T minus one week and counting!

Guys!  Next Sunday my baby little younger brother is getting MARRIED. And I’m the best (wo)man (which means I have to compose a little toast to the happy couple. heh, heh.)

He started out pretty OK.

But hospitals soon became a recurring theme. (is it appendicitis?)

This is not an all-inclusive “injury photo” group. There were many more. The glasses could be included as injury inducing, as well, here.

And slight fits of insanity (hey, who of you out there never dressed your little brother up? c’mon, really. OF COURSE you did.)

At some point he started handling swords, which, given his track record, was maybe not the wisest of moves.

He even came to visit me in Korea (when I was blonde. And not so tired.)

He is really awesome with kids.

And he even made it through Navy boot camp (and altho he told tales of being VERY SLEEP DEPRIVED he has no idea what is in store for him when he has his own Little Sailor).

And this is the happy couple (and my uncle. who is on the left.)

loved the pictures! I remember calling him ‘brandy wine’ to make him mad….wouldn’t suggest that for your speech (or maybe I would…there’s still a little 12 year old girl left in me).

have a great celebration day on Sunday! where is the event taking place?

Lisa, that’s too funny! Brandy-wine. I’m going to tell him about that.
They’re getting married on the Purdue campus in one of the gardens there (her mom works for Purdue so was able to get them in) so I’m headed over tomorrow for the wedding shower and all the other weekend festivities!

You will be a wonderful best man. I hope the wedding is splendiferously celebratory or quietly joyful or whatever the couple wants it to be. Will Miles be the ring bearer? He could be seated at the front of the area and could sort of fall forward onto his tummy to present the ring, but then that purple rage business might not be too conducive to vow-taking/making.

No need to seat Miles. Michele can simply “wear” him in his carrier on her tummy, and he’ll be right handy to fork over the rings at the appropriate moments:)

Ha! What a cute idea…too bad Miles isn’t CRAWLING by now like he was SUPPOSED to be or he could’ve done it that way.
And too bad B and Rachel aren’t having a beach wedding or we could do the casual baby-wearing thing!
