Rain During Droughts

hot and humid, without a drop of rain, has been our summer. But today a storm passed through, this time delivering on its promise, as so many storms have failed to do.

It may be the beginning of the end for the drought or it may be just a momentary lull. Either way, it soothed the parched soul of people and plant.
